Òtun is a song inspired by God and how He sees me.
The moment you believed God; you became New.
We as believers grow unto maturity but we shouldn't be ignorant that we are Sons, not slaves to sin.
Is it "to sin and say grace should abound"? No! But it is "shall I do this and sin against my Father?" So it informs our thoughts, actions, always! Òtun is my resolve, my reality. "2 Corinthians 5:17".
I am a candidate of forgiveness cos
I have been accepted in the beloved
His favour, all around me I see
He has covered my sins.
You have shown me unfailing love
Lord you grant me salvation
Sometimes it may seem lonely and rough
Lord you've put away your displeasure towards us.
Òtun, òtun ni mo jé
Èsè ò ní àyè lórí okàn mi
Ayé òtun ni mo ngbé
Ògá ògo somidotun
Sometimes I cry, other times I'm tired of crying
Because it feels I have fallen too many, many times
And do not deserve this love and grace
But whose mind can all-comprehend yet
The mystery of your love
So intentional, intentional about loving me
Òtun, òtun ni mo jé
Èsè ò ní àyè lórí okàn mi
Ayé òtun ni mo ngbé
Ògá ògo so mi dotun
