My name is Achor Sylvester Emmanuel. I am Igala by tribe, from Kogi State, Nigeria. I was born in a town called Ejule on the 5th of December, 1993 . However, I grew up in Bauchi State/Abuja fct .
I attended St Paul Nursery and Primary school in Bauchi State. My secondary education was in Army day secondary school, shadawanka Bauchi State. I also attended Community Secondary school Ejule where I obtained my second school leaving certificate. Finally, my tertiary education was in Kogi State University, Kogi, Nigeria.
I started my music career early as a secular artist. I created a group which I called ‘B2boyz’ which later broke up after we had our debut album. My stage name at this time was Smile Silver but now I go by Rojeju. (I'll talk about the name next time)
I became a Gospel Artist after my encounter with a man filled with the Spirit of God and great wisdom- Oj Nimix. He is my mentor today and I forever cherish our relationship. One thing that struck me the most about Nimix was the testimonies he constantly experienced from serving and following the Lord. I really desired this in my life and I decided to listen and attach myself to him. And my life has been changing from one level to another ever since.
Today, I am fully confident that one of the reasons why I live is to praise God and this has spurred my music ministry. In addition, I desire that Afro Gospel becomes a solid tool through which souls are won to the Kingdom of God.
Currently, I’m working on an album- Akofida, which means ‘the cross’ in Igala
