Same authors then synthesised a new series of imidazo 2,1-b1,3,4 thiadiazole derivatives and evaluated against SUIT-2, CAPAN-1 and Panc-1. By scrutinizing the hits 59a and 59b, they speculated that the indole aryl amine frame as a unique structural feature for this class of inhibitors.
